The present paper deals with the microbial diversity in phyllospora of some Asteraceous medicinal plants. Result showed 11 genera belonging to 21 sp. in which Asprgillus flavus, A. niger, A. terreus and Curvularia sp. were present. The 100% frequency of A. flavus was recorded only on Eclipta with 1.2 density where as maximum density of 1.4 was recorded for A. niger on Blumea ampletens. Mucor hemalis was present on Eclipta, Spilanthes and Tagetes erecta with 20–60% frequency and 0.2–0.6 density.
