HIV or AIDS is a virus infected disease prevalent all over the world. It centres around the immune system of body and destroys its ability to fight off the virus. The only answer to overcome AIDS is good nutrition and health that build up the immune system against an attack of the virus. Certain antioxidants contribute to strengthening immune system i.e. Vitamin A, C, E, Calcium, P-carotene. The N-K cells production also depends upon nutrition input in the body. Spirulina has all these biochemicals in its constitution that build of a healthy immune system, which scavenges free radicals as well. Ability of Spirulina in the inhibition of HIV has been discussed.
