Prof Anjuli Agarwal was born in 1965 obtained her Ph. D. degree from G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and joined M J P Rohilkhand University, Bareilly as lecturer in 1993. After serving there for ten years, she is now Professor of Biochemistry at G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. She visited various countries like China, Denmark, Thailand, Belgium, South Korea and graduated as Climate Change Leader supported by British High Commission, New Delhi. Dr Agarwal completed seven research projects and published many research papers in reputed journals. She worked mainly on the micro-propagation and tissue culture of ornamental and commercially used plants.
Dr Anjuli established a plant tissue culture lab in the year 2004 at Agriculture Research Station, Majhera to carry out field oriented research and work on various important plants like bamboo, Dactylorhiza hatagirea, ginger and potato. She was admitted to the FELLOW OF SOCIETY FOR PLANT RESEARCH award for the year 2011-12 and the Fellow of INDIAN ACADEMY OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES.
