Prof Anushree Lokur is the Principal of Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Matunga, Mumbai besides being the Head of Microbiology department. She obtained her PhD (Microbiology) in 2017, MPhil (Microbiology) in 1992 and MSc (Microbiology) in 1985. Dr Anushree has a teaching experience of 34 years of teaching at UG level and 24 years at Postgraduate level in the University of Mumbai.
She was recognized as Research Guide for PhD degree in the subject of Microbiology by University of Mumbai in 2019 and has published nearly 20 research papers in the journals of international repute. Prof Anushree successfully organized an international conference during 2019 in collaboration with Society for Plant Research (Vegetos) and is the recipient of various awards including Chief Ministers Appreciation Award for success in i-GEM competition. She filed one Patent on Araldite Epoxy Resin Coating Composition in 2014.
