Drimia govindappae (A.Boraiah & Fathima) Lekhak & P.B.Yadav (Asparagaceae), an endemic species of Karnataka, India, has been reported as a new distributional record for the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. A detailed taxonomic description, along with information on its habitat and phenology, is provided, accompanied by photographs to facilitate easy identification in the field.
