Abstract

Eragrostis cumingii Steud. (Poaceae: Chloridoideae) and Polypogon fugax Nees ex Steud. (Poaceae: Aveneae) are reported here as additions to the grass flora of Western India from Maharashtra state. Taxonomy along with detailed description, distribution, photo-plates of the species have been provided to facilitate easy identification.
