Abstract
Occurrence of Xanthosoma robustum Schott. is reported here as a new distributional record for Eastern India. In addition to this, a taxonomic key to species of Xanthosoma, along with a detailed botanical description, updated nomenclature, phenology, distribution and coloured photo plate of Xanthosoma robustum provided for easy identification of the plant.
