Pedicularis dhurensis R.R. Mill (Orobanchaceae), has been reported for the first time in India from Tawang district, Arunachal Pradesh. Pedicularis dhurensis is morphologically allied to Pedicularis kingii Prain. but clear morphological differences can be traced on closer examination of the floral characters. Taxonomical description along with photo-plates and notes on phenology, distribution and habitat have been provided in this current communication to aid in easy identification of the species.
