Taxonomic status of Passiflora suberosa subsp. litoralis (Passifloraceae, subgenus Decaloba) in India and notes on typification

Abstract
In India, the delimitation and taxonomic status of Passiflora suberosa subsp. litoralis is uncertain. The study aims to resolve the taxonomic uncertainty regarding its identity in India. A thorough description, illustrations, field photographs, morphological features, comparison with related taxa, and taxonomic comments are provided to validate the results. Furthermore, an epitype has been designated to ensure nomenclatural stability.
