An extensive survey of the literature pertaining to the genus Dalbergia across the globe revealed the reports of mycoendophytic associations prevailing among ten species, documented from six countries. The compilation includes the area of investigation, host and plant part from which the fungal endophytes have been isolated. A total of 112 taxa belonging to eight classes, 22 orders, and 62 distinct genera have been documented based on the various literature reports. Among these, one taxon has been identified up to the order level, 36 taxa only up to the genus level, and 75 taxa up to the species level.
