The study investigated the cultivation of Pleurotus florida (oyster mushroom) using various ratios of wheat straw and dried mango leaves, assessing parameters like complete mycelial run (CMR), pinhead initiation (PHI), total yield, biological efficiency (BE), and enzyme activity. Results showed that mango leaves positively influenced all parameters. The optimal substrate with 80% wheat straw and 20% mango leaves achieved the fastest CMR (17 days) and PHI (20 days). The highest total yield was 1267 g with a combination of 70% wheat straw to 30% mango leaves, yielding a biological efficiency of 253.4%. This combination also enhanced enzyme activities during fruitification. The study emphasizes the advantages of mango leaf supplementation in oyster mushroom cultivation.
